We size to the actual heat load — orientation, insulation, glazing — not to the bedroom width. An undersized unit runs forever; an oversized one short-cycles. We pick neither.

Wall splits are not covered by the AFA Air Lifetime Warranty (which is ducted-only) but they can be enrolled in AirShepherd monitoring, and Daikin’s manufacturer warranty applies.
