Wall splits are not covered by the AFA Air Lifetime Warranty (which is ducted-only) but they can be enrolled in AirShepherd monitoring, and Daikin’s manufacturer warranty applies.

01When is a split system better than ducted air conditioning?

02How long does split system installation take?
Many wall split system installations can be completed in a day, depending on wall access, outdoor unit location, electrical requirements and pipe run complexity.
03Can a split system heat as well as cool?
Yes. Reverse-cycle split systems provide both heating and cooling, making them useful through Adelaide summer and winter.
04What size split system do I need?
Sizing depends on room volume, insulation, glazing, orientation, ceiling height and heat load. AFA Air sizes the unit to the room rather than guessing from floor area alone.
05Are split systems covered by the Lifetime Warranty?
The AFA Air Lifetime Warranty is for eligible ducted installations. Split systems are supported by manufacturer warranty and AFA Air service support.
