CHAPTER I

A warranty that gives you total peace of mind.

Every new ducted system AFA Air install is covered to the original homeowner for as long as it’s connected to AirShepherd. Giving you total peace of mind and saving you money on costly repair bills and wasted energy costs.

CHAPTER II

Connected to AirShepherd.

Your system stays under warranty as long as it stays connected to our monitoring. We see faults early, fix them quietly, and keep the unit running the way it should — most of the time, you never know we were there.

CHAPTER III

One subscription. One number.

Paid annually, with the first year included with installation. The subscription covers the live monitoring, the annual service, and any warranty work that comes from it. The phone number to call is the same one we have answered since 1982.

CHAPTER IV

Parts and labour. In writing.

Under the warranty, AFA Air repairs or replaces defective components — parts and labour, no cost to you. Australian Consumer Law sits over the top. The full terms are linked at the bottom of this page; we keep them short, deliberately.

For as long as you live in your home.

For most people, that can be many years, even decades. For us, that is a promise we will keep.

Lifetime Warranty with a simple cloud subscription

Keep your air conditioner worry-free for life with AirShepherd. Simply maintain the annual cloud subscription (first year included), and you’ll receive the Lifetime Warranty.

Your subscription includes all servicing needs, other than cleaning/replacing your filters, protecting you from potential costly breakdowns and extending the lifespan of your air conditioning unit.

Just keep us connected, and AFA Air will handle everything.

Defective components and workmanship

Parts and labour included for diagnosed faults under the scope set out in the terms.

Subscription

Paid annually (first year included)

Subject to CPI adjustments. Payment maintains the AirShepherd cloud subscription that keeps the warranty active.

Transferability

Non-transferable

The warranty is single-owner. New owners can subscribe to AirShepherd for monitoring, but the original Lifetime cover does not pass on.

Excludes

Filters, weathering, third-party tampering

Filters and consumables, normal cosmetic deterioration, damage from external electrical supply, storms, fire, flood, or unauthorised modifications.

Eligibility

New ducted systems only

The Lifetime Warranty applies to ducted systems newly installed by AFA Air. Wall splits and existing systems are covered under the manufacturer warranty plus AirShepherd, separately.
